Today the Office for Rehabilitation (Bureau of Reclamation), Senator Pete Domenici (R-NM) and other dignitaries officially opened the National Research Center for Groundwater Desalination of brackish (Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility) at a ceremony in Alamogordo, NM The new research center is dedicated to testing desalination of brackish water and damaged. It was created through a partnership between the Bureau of Reclamation, Sandia National Labs and New Mexico State University.
